Headshot of Erika Zaman, Precision BodyWRX trainer at Precision Pilates

About Erika Zaman

  • Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine
  • TRX Certified
  • Nutrition Coach

A former two-sport collegiate athlete, Erika has a passion for fitness and feeling better through better movement.

As a fitness junkie, Erika has tried just about every gym, workout, and exercise program. What she has found is that there are many ways to get into better shape, but losing focus on the precision of your movement is where we tend to experience injuries, which often means setbacks on progress toward our goals.

Erika first met Amber at Precision Pilates in 2008 when she strolled into the studio to purchase a BodyBug. They had an instant connection, which led to Erika’s introduction to Pilates.  She was impressed by the careful, intentional approach of Amber and her teachers, taking the time to educate and enforce proper form and a mentality of taking care of your body rather than punishing it.

Amber has mentored Erika for years and has hand-selected her to partner with the Precision brand to bring customized personal training services to their family of clients. They have a very similar approach to fitness and want to help improve all aspects of their clients’ physical wellness so they can continue on the path of better body movement.

Personal Training FAQ’s

It’s a balance of challenging your body to change and grow and allowing time for recovery. For most people, 2 sessions per week is ideal.

Of course you’ll be sore and tight for the next couple of days, but with consistency combined with a healthy diet, your body should look and feel different after 4-6 weeks.

YES. Although first workout is the hardest – mentally and physically. But as soon as you finish that first workout, your brain will be overwhelmed with reward. You’ll get stronger with each session and we’ll modify your workouts to keep challenging you to your next level.
